This project involved the tear down and replacement of the Honeyville Bridge, some repairs on the substructure of three other bridges one south and two north of the IC, widening of SR-240 with HMA and new guardrail and chip seal. The new bridge received a polymer coating to increase its longevity. The new structure allows additional width for farmers moving their harvesting machines back and forth across the bridge along with a better load rating for semis crossing the bridge.
