Layton Crossing

UDOT and Layton City finished construction on a new east-west connection across I-15 between SR-126 (Main Street) and Hill Field Road. The project connects 1425 North on the east with a bridge across I-15 to the existing roadway between Kohl’s and the Cutrubus Motors body shop. The alignment also includes a new intersection at Main Street and realignment of Angel Street. Construction of this project has improved east-west mobility in Layton, relieved traffic congestion at the Antelope Drive and Hill Field Road interchanges, and promoted economic development in Layton’s commercial area. This project began in July of 2017 and was completed in the summer of 2018.
