Riverdale Road Bridge

This project included the reconstruction and widening of approximately one mile of Riverdale Road from I-84 to 1900 West, including two blocks of 1900 West in Roy and Riverdale Utah. The bridge over I-15 was completely replaced and the Hill Field Railroad Bridge Deck was replaced. The old asphalt pavement was replaced with concrete pavement and the drainage and utility infrastructure was upgraded. The I-15 ramps were rebuilt and reconfigured to allow left turns onto Riverdale Road exiting I-15, and left turns onto I-15 from eastbound Riverdale Road. A major challenge on this project was maintaining traffic through Riverdale and Roy during construction and allowing access to businesses along this corridor.
